Acclaim Consulting Group, Inc. a leading provider of Identity Management, Identity Governance, Access Control and API Management solutions, is pleased announced the integration of the latest Fujitsu PalmSecure biometric identification technology with Netegrity SiteMinder’s Single Sign-On (SSO), enabling end users to access enterprise applications with a secure and hacker proof palm scan instead of creating, managing, remembering and inputting different passwords for each account. Users simply wave their palm over a biometric reader to be authenticated once to the Siteminder application based on their unique palm vein pattern.

Deploying PalmSecure technology in conjunction with Siteminder SSO helps restrict access to corporate information assets to authorized users, prevent data compromises related to password theft, eliminate user frustration and lost productivity associated with password usage, and facilitate compliance with regulatory mandates such as HIPAA, SOX and PCI DSS.

The Fujitsu award-winning PalmSecure technology is a palm vein-based strong authentication solution that uses near-infrared light to capture a person’s palm vein pattern, generating a unique biometric template that is matched against pre-registered user palm vein patterns. The small palm vein device can recognize the pattern only if the blood is actively flowing within the individual’s veins, making forgery virtually impossible.
